Meet Olga Dourmeoglou, a valued member of the Key Content team. With a background as a writer and years of experience working with Key Content’s diverse clients—including navigating the dynamic shifts of the e-commerce boom during Covid—Olga has continually contributed her content creation expertise to the team. More recently, she has transitioned into her role as Senior Project Manager, taking on direct communications with customers and further strengthening those relationships. It’s the perfect time to introduce Olga and celebrate her journey with us.

Tell us about your role at Key Content?

I am a Senior Project Manager. My role requires of me to lead project initiatives by overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning to execution and delivery, while fostering strong client relationships.

What do you enjoy most about working in a SEO & Content creation industry?

What excites me the most when I lead a project is the prospect that our clients are going to see a change, they can grow and see the correct audience connect with them. SEO is a huge part of our work and can help great content hit its target, the reader that will appreciate it the most and will benefit from connecting with the brand behind it.

Can you walk us through a typical workday for you?

The first thing that I do when I login to my workspace is to check my emails and see if there is any feedback, a new order, or a question from our clients. Then I proceed to check the progress of every project, identify any possible issues, and act on them. At the same time, I try to connect with my colleagues to see if something needs my attention and I schedule project assignments, progress updates and deliveries. Some internal, or client meetings between my everyday tasks is my chance to connect with our Key Content team and our clients and make sure that everything is going well and everyone is happy.

Tell us about the place you live and what you like most about your city?

I am located in Athens, the capital of Greece, a diverse city, full of surprises… What I love the most about it, is the cultural options it provides me. I can always find a great theatre play, a movie, an exhibition, or a music night to enjoy.

Could you share with us an unusual fact about yourself?

I am sure this is not unusual, but I love animals and especially cats! In fact, I am so lucky, that I have not gone a single day of my life without an animal companion. I remember and cherish each and every one of them.

Outside of work, what are your hobbies or interests?

I love theatre! I try to see as many plays as I can and most likely you will catch me in a play every weekend. I always look forward to immerse myself in a play after a long week. I also enjoy literature and some poetry.

Do you have a favourite book that has left a lasting impression on you, personally or professionally?

One of my most cherished books is Romain Rolland’s Enchanted Soul, which is a multi-tome novel about a single mother in 20th century Europe. It reminds me to always approach life and others with kindness, learn from each day and no matter what, keep going.

Can you recommend a soundtrack with 1-3 songs that resonate to you most?

There are so many, but the one song that resonates to me the most is Beautiful Day by U2.

Are there specific technologies or tools that you use every day in your role that you would recommend to others in a similar position?

I think that Asana (one of our clients by the way!) can help you a lot when you have to work with multiple projects, so you can track everything and have a space where you can store all the information and processes you have worked on. Slack is another great tool when it comes to communicating with team members and clients. It gives you the sense of a virtual workspace.

What is your vision for the future of content?

I believe that premium, blog content is the future. Being able to connect with an expert in their field, learn through their experience and benefit from can create a sense of special connection between author and reader. At Key Content we have seen many opportunities that this has been beneficial for our clients, no matter in the travel, hospitality, or tech industries.
